CINCINNATI -- The Andrew Jergens Co. division-of Kao Corp. has acquired John Frieda Professional Hair Care Inc. for $450 million.
John Frieda produces, markets and distributes such premium hair care brands as Frizz Ease, Sheer Blonde, Beach Blonde, Ready to Wear and Frizz Ease Relax.
The supplier's product assortment includes hair serums, styling products, shampoos, conditioners and hair color. Andrew Jergens offerings include its Jergens and Curel hand and body moisturizers, Biore facial care items and Ban antiperspirant/deodorant products.
