Ski jumping in the summer might sound a bit outlandish, but not in Fox River Grove.
As a matter of fact, the local Norge Ski Club has held a summer jumping tournament in the village since 1983.
Today, the club will presents another summer tournament at its hill along Ski Hill Road.
While officials say the turnout is usually not as strong as the club's winter tournament, they say the excitement experienced in the cold is felt just the same in September.
