George Applegate has the enviable job of spreading the word among travel agents and consumers about the rich diversity the Big Island offers. Applegate, who serves as executive director of the Big Island Visitors Bureau (BIVB), is responsible for promoting a destination that consistently receives high satisfaction ratings among travelers, many of whom also note that they're eager to return.
