Sep. 16--A few years back, Doug Harrison of The Scooter Store was keeping his business alive by using his credit cards for company expenses and working an exhaustive schedule. He was usually the last to leave every day -- often at 9 or 10 at night.
Harrison told his story to entrepreneurs recently at Reggiano's. He said his life changed when he joined the Young Entrepreneurs' Organization in 1995 and learned a better way of doing business. Since then, he's added 600 employees, increased his revenues tremendously and gained a new set of friends.
