PASTA SAUCES GALORE: It's only natural that pasta manufacturer Barilla would offer a line of pasta sauces. Although they are not new, the company is trying to get the word out about them. Based on Italian selections, there are eight different flavors available - Spicy Pepper, Sweet Peppers & Garlic, Green & Black Olive, Roasted Garlic & Onion, Tomato & Basil, Mushroom & Garlic, Marinara and Italian Baking Sauce. Each 26-ounce glass jar (about 3 cups) is designed to sauce a pound of pasta.
We sampled the Tomato & Basil and Mushroom & Garlic and found them excellent - definitely one of the better-tasting brand of sauces we've sampled. As they don't need doctoring ...
