Sep. 19--An East Bay couple is suing a Hayward professional wrestling school, alleging their son died as the result of negligence last year after he sparred with a partner who outweighed him by more than 200 pounds.
The complaint filed in Alameda County Superior Court seeks damages from the All Pro Wrestling School in connection with the death of 24-year-old Brian Ong and requests a jury trial.
"All Pro Wrestling lures wrestling `wannabes' with the promise of fame and fortune on the exhibition wrestling circuit," wrote attorney Nancy Hersh in the complaint. ...
