Anyone staying at L.A.'s Chateau Marmont in May a few years ago may have had a hard time getting a good night's rest. It was then that a publicist decided to pay homage to her divorce by footing the bill for all-night pool parties and shopping sprees that set her back $46,000 in four weeks.
"Everyone came to my parties--from Hollywood celebrities to supermodels," says the publicist, who also celebrated her singlehood by "renting a convertible at $700 a week, buying hordes of Dolce & Gabbana, and taking limos to all the clubs."
