Until recently, cars capable of 200mph were the preserve of Formula One drivers and drag racers. But a raft of new fast cars is about to hit the UK, and anyone with a driver's licence and a large pile of cash can own one.
Encouraged by the popularity of cars such as James Bond's latest machine, the 195mph Aston Martin Vanquish, and Bugatti's monstrous 250mph Veyron, manufacturers are cashing in on car addicts' need for speed.
