In October 1997, Burswood Limited made Japanese businessman, Tiebo Ogino, an irrevocable offer to buy Burswood Hotel. The offer was able to be taken up between 1 January and 30 September 2002, and Ogino has done so, agreeing to a sale price of $A104m.
