BARABOO -- The Sauk County Board this week denied a claim of nearly $25,000 filed by a Madison resident for damage to his home and business during a drug raid in March.
James Newhouser last week filed a statement that Dane and Sauk counties owe him $24,910 for damage that was done during a drug raid at his East Main Street home on March 26. Damages totaled $6,910, according to the statement, and he asked for $18,000 compensation for emotional distress.
