Most callers to The Kentucky Post Reader's Hotline say they are not willing to pay the cost of building a light rail system that would connect Northern Kentucky with destinations in Greater Cincinnati.
'One thing we don't need in Northern Kentucky is higher taxes,' said one caller.
Supporters of a proposed $2.6 billion light rail system are campaigning for a tax hike in Hamilton County to pay for the system on the north side of the river.
Issue No. 7 on the November ballot is asking for approval of a half-cent sales tax increase for Hamilton County to be used for transportation improvements. The Southern Ohio ...
