TRILLIONS of readers send me letters about weeds - and ask for advice on how to get rid of them. I wish there was a magic remedy, but there isn't.
It's not that easy to keep them under control even with weedkiller, although I might be tempted to use just one dose in spring to get on top of a really overgrown garden.
But these days we are all moving away from chemicals, so weed control is going to be mostly manual work from now on and we'll have to get used to it.
If you persevere, you'll wear down even the real horrors in the end.
