OLD FATHER TIME chimed the start of Ally McCoist's 40th year last night. But there were no champagne corks flying around his Renfrewshire home, Buzzy Wares or any of the other Glasgow boozers where Ally regularly holds court.
In normal circumstances, Super Ally would have sailed into middle age on a sea of Moet, Guinness and Budweiser.
