The Charity Commission welcomed today's publication of "Private Action, Public Benefit", the Cabinet Office's review of the law and regulation of the not-for-profit sector. Charities form the major part of this sector.
Charity Commissioner Julia Unwin, said: "This is an important and wide-ranging review which the Commission has supported throughout. We welcome it and hope that it will be widely read and debated within the sector. The Commission will be playing its full part in that debate. ...
