Sep. 25--Complaining the CTA discriminates against West Side neighborhoods, several community groups Tuesday called for three new rail stations on the Green Line and restoration of bus service that was cut five years ago.
The transit improvements are warranted because of new housing and commercial development near the United Center, a growing Kinzie industrial corridor and a prospering Randolph/Fulton Market, according to the Campaign for Better Transit, which held a public meeting Tuesday night calling for new investment in mass transit.
