CHICAGO -- After retiring from a 26-year career in Chicago television in 1994, veteran weather forecaster Jim Tilmon will return to join CBS 2 CHICAGO's 4:30 PM News, it was announced today by Joe Ahern, President and General Manager of the Station, and Carol Fowler, Vice President and News Director. Tilmon, who will also serve as the Station's Aviation Reporter and Analyst, will begin work with WBBM-TV on Monday, September 30.

Tilmon spent 26 years on the air in Chicago. Four of those years were spent with WTTW, the Public Broadcasting System station, while the rest were at WMAQ-TV. During that time, he also served as a pilot for American Airlines.
