If one were to examine the majority of executives at the head of the major basic and pay cable networks, one distinguishing characteristic would be hard to ignore: Most are white and male.
Breaking through the proverbial glass ceiling into the ranks of network presidents and general managers has been a steady but slow practice for both women and minorities.
