US Gulf Oil, Gas Ops Down Ahead of Storm
Even before it has touched down on US shores, Tropical Storm Isidore has cut off more than 2 million barrels a day of US crude supplies, shut-in nearly all US Gulf of Mexico daily gas production of 14 billion cubic feet, and by Wednesday had begun to impact refining operations.
Weather forecasters said Isidore would touch land around midnight on Thursday with its center likely passing directly over New Orleans by early morning.
