Thai merchant bank Finansa PCL of Thailand had a poor debut on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Finansa shares were traded at an 11 per cent discount to their float price at the start of business on 25 September 2002. Finansa raised Bht900 million by offering 36 million shares at Bht25 ($US0.58) each. They ended at Bht22.20 on the first day of trading.
