John Hickenlooper, founder of the popular Wynkoop Brewing Co., said Monday he created a exploratory committee to consider a run for Denver mayor.
The move allows the 50-year-old Denver brewer and LoDo pioneer to begin raising money for his potential campaign.He expects to make a final decision by December. The election is in May 2003.
Hickenlooper said it would take at least $1 million in political donations to ``seriously consider doing this.''
