Delta Funding Corp., the Woodbury, N.Y.-based subprime wholesaler, has contributed the rewards for the students of Benjamin Cardozo Middle School 198 here who participate in a reading skills program.
Delta chairman Sidney Miller was "Principal for a Day" at the school during the past school year. During his time at the school he heard from the principal and its students about their needs.
Cardozo MS 198 is located in the Rockaway section of New York City, in an area with several public and private apartment complexes and a high number of low- and moderate-income families.
