CHICAGO -- Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless provider, and the Chicago Cubs are teaming up to invite fans to help victims of domestic violence in our community.
On Saturday, September 28, 2002, used wireless phones and accessories will be collected for the Verizon Wireless HopeLine(SM) program at the Verizon Wireless kiosk/booth inside Wrigley Field beginning at 1:05 p.m. (gates open) through game time.
Through the Verizon Wireless HopeLine(SM) program, used wireless handsets, batteries and accessories from any carrier are refurbished, recycled, and/or sold. Proceeds are donated to non-profit domestic violence advocacy organizations and ...
