Sep. 29--PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla.--So where's the tourist who's willing to plunk down $80,000 while on vacation?
How about at the Thunder Beach biker rally Saturday, which meant big business for vendors and businesses alike.
Organizer Joe Biggs said the rally at the Shoppes at Edgewater on Front Beach Road caters to tourists who buy more than just souvenirs -- they're buying motorcycles. "These are doctors and lawyers -- people who come here to buy property," said Biggs, a Tallahassee resident.
