Sichuan Zigong Honghe Chemical Works has started construction of a 300 000 t/a methanol project.
The company announced at the beginning of this year that the initial capacity of the project would be 350 000 t/a. The plan was, however, later changed without a clear explanation.
The project is located in Zigong Chemical Industry Zone, which has been recently designed and planned. It will start production in October 2003 and employ the process technology introduced from ...
