Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (NASDAQ: TSEM; TASE: TOWER) today announced that the registration statement previously filed by Tower with Securities and Exchange Commission and the Israel Securities Authority with respect to Tower's previously announced rights offering was declared effective.
The record date for the rights offering is 5 pm (New York City time), today, September 30, 2002.
