The $265 million Imperial (Calif.) County Employees' Retirement System is gearing up to issue RFPs for an actuary and a custodian bank search early next year, and also is in the process of investigating real estate investments. "We've had relationships with Buck Consultants and J.P. Morgan for many, many years," said a fund official that declined to be named. While board members have no complaints of the level of service provided by the two firms, the source said that the board wanted to see what other opportunities were available.
