ARLINGTON, Texas -- Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau unveiled the new brand campaign, "Arlington, FUN CENTRAL, Texas" at a tourism rally today. Held at Legends of the Game Baseball Museum, the program began with a multimedia presentation of George C. Scott's first scene in the film, "Patton."
Setting the military tone, Linda Howell DiMario, President & CEO of ACVB, donned a Patton costume and addressed "the troops": Arlington City Council and staff, ACVB's Board of Directors, and owners, operators and employees of the local tourism industry.
