AS her four children arrive home from school and vie with each other to tell her about their day, Tracy O'Connor is clearly in her element as she juggles with their demands.
Her lively, flaxen-haired daughters, Manisha, five and Lucy, four, demand most of her attention and it is a great sadness for Tracy that her mother, Anne, never lived to see them or her sons, Lee, 14, and Aidan, nearly 12.
Anne died of breast cancer at the age of only 33, leaving Tracy, then 16, bereft and left to console and look after her brother, Darren, who was a year younger.
