WHEAT RIDGE -- Things are different now for Leigh Burns.
The 34-year-old has a baby and she's switched political parties. She used to be a Republican, mostly because her parents were, but she's a mom to 8-month-old Conley and she's changed her registration to ``unaffiliated.''
``It seems more who I am at this point in my life,'' Burns said. ``I'm making a decision not just for me, but for my child now.''
Times have changed Burns and times have changed in Colorado, where unaffiliated voters like her make up a third of the state's newest congressional district.
