Oct. 3--MIAMI BEACH--Stainless steel counters, touch-screen city guides and a multilingual staff greet visitors to the brand-new Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center, slated for a grand opening celebration next week.
"It's a unique facility," said chamber President Bruce Singer.
"It should be packed all the time." The $1.7 million, three-story facility at 1920 Meridian Ave. will house a high-tech visitors center in its lobby and the chamber's offices on the two upper floors.
