The Julie Thurston Library Guild is banking on residents of the Oneida Lake North Shore to support a bigger library in Constantia.
More than 150 people streamed through the new library Saturday during its grand opening in the former Fleet Bank in the hamlet of Constantia.
"They were really impressed with how well it worked," said library guild member Sue Curran, who handled grand opening publicity.
The new digs feature 1,300 square feet of space on the first floor, more than four times that in the former library on Mill Street. More than 5,000 books, videotapes and audio tapes fill the shelves. The ...
