THOUSANDS of Scots have been prepared to go the extra mile to help the Daily Record's Save Our Kids appeal.
But one fund-raiser wants to go the extra TWO miles - 10,000 feet above sea level in the world's highest mountain range.
Hillwalker Joan Frances Boyle is organising one of the most ambitious fund-raising events yet to help generate cash for the appeal.
With fiance Allan Blyth, she is planning a series of three 60-mile treks across the Himalayas.
