If McDonald's Corp. CEO Jack Greenberg can't deliver improvements-and soon-the fast-food giant's board could decide he doesn't deserve another break.
Mr. Greenberg, a 20-year McDonald's veteran who has been CEO since 1998, has only three months to a year to show he can improve performance, observers and investors say. If the company continues to fall short, he risks being replaced-even by a conservative board that's stuck with him through a string of disappointing results.
