Emerson Climate Technologies (ECT) recently announced it has entered into an agreement with Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company to improve the energy efficiency of 200 of the company's grocery stores on the east coast operating under the A&P, Super Fresh, Waldbaum's and Super Food Mart brand names. Under the agreement, ECT will conduct energy audits and tune-up equipment to "improve the operating efficiency of each store's refrigeration, heating, air conditioning and lighting."
