Oct. 7--CHICAGO--Many printing companies will fold this decade because they haven't embraced new areas of business that range from database management to bulk mailing, a graphic arts industry economist said Saturday.
For printers that haven't sought new lines of work: "Quite frankly, even when the economic recovery hits full speed, it's not going to look much different than the recession," said Andrew Paparozzi, chief economist for the National Association for Printing Leadership.
