IN A SUPER BOWL TV COMMERCIAL for a brokerage firm, Barry Bonds is taking batting practice in an empty ballpark when a mysterious voice fills the air.
"Barry Bonds, it's time. It's time to retire."
Bonds looks up to the press box and sees Hank Aaron speaking into a public-address system.
"Hank, cut it out," Bonds says.
Now that Bonds has joined the 600-homer club, though, the last thing Aaron wants is for the San Francisco Giants left fielder to cut it out.
Aaron, 68, the home run king with 755 in his 23-year career, says he's pulling for Bonds as he approaches his record.
