Did sea reptiles and dinosaurs get along, and if not, in a fight which one would win?

Marine reptiles and dinosaurs probably met only when dinosaurs went swimming, which wasn't very often. If two animals of about the same size got into a fight, that battle would have been in the water. I think the sea reptile would have won, since it must have been a much better swimmer.
