Most of the dinosaurs were plant eaters, just like most animals living today. Dinosaurs with sharp, serrated teeth, such as T. rex and Allosaurus, ate meat. Some dinosaurs may have eaten both plants and meat, but we don't know which ones they were.
When the first dinosaur of a species is discovered, how do we know how the bones fit together?
