Sonic Foundry has introduced the 5.1 Surround Plug-In Pack for ACID PRO 4.0. This new product allows users to encode ACID mixes to 5.1-multi-channel surround or stereo Dolby Digital AC-3 files, and burn them to DVD.

Accessed through ACID PRO 4.0, the Dolby Digital encoder provides optimized templates for creating DVD compliant AC-3 files (5.1 surround or stereo), and offers sophisticated customization options previously found only in expensive professional encoders.
