City Attorney Mark Sidran, apparently riding a high from new television ads against light rail, has rocketed into second place in Seattle's mayoral race, according to a new KING-5 News poll.
The poll, released last night, puts Sidran in a statistical dead heat with Mayor Paul Schell and King County Councilman Greg Nickels. But it was a meteoric rise for Sidran, who lagged in distant fourth place in the KING-5 poll just two weeks ago.
"Momentum is spelled S-I-D-R-A-N," said the candidate's campaign consultant, Michael Grossman.
