COUNCIL bosses are holding an inquiry after one of Liverpool's new parking enforcement officers was spotted dishing out tickets while his car was on a single yellow line.
The warden, who works for Citylink, the firm which won the contract for parking enforcement in the city when it was decriminalised earlier this year, left his black Ford Focus on a yellow line in city centre Cockspur Street West at rush hour. It was parked close to a No Parking sign displaying the restrictions ``Mon-Sat 7am to 7pm''.
He then issued pounds 60 fines to motorists doing the same thing in nearby streets.
