CSRC to enact rules tightening control of acquisition of listed companies

Shanghai. October 8. INTERFAX-CHINA - The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) on Tuesday published two sets of newly drafted regulations on the acquisition of listed companies and the disclosure of information related to changes in share interests held in listed companies, the CSRC's press office announced to Interfax.

Along with the existing Securities Law, the new rules will form a comprehensive legal framework for corporate acquisitions, the CSRC said in a statement.
