Ashmore Investment Management, the specialist emerging market bond manager, has monopolised the top rankings in a survey conducted by InvestorForce, the US-based online research and consulting firm.Ashmore holds the top four positions in the emerging market category.
The top performer was its Russian debt portfolio, returning 71.92% over one year, compared with the Lehman emerging markets index at -4.45%.
Its Asian Recovery Fund returned 41.68%, its Emerging Markets Liquid Investment Portfolio was up 26.98% and the fourth-placed Local Currency Debt Portfolio produced a return of 25.31%.
