MADRID, Oct. 9 (AScribe Newswire) -- The anti-epileptic drug Trileptal (R) (oxcarbazepine, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation) was associated with fewer treatment-related adverse events and lower healthcare-related costs than carbamazepine, according to two studies presented at the 5th European Congress on Epileptology. The studies directly compared the costs associated with the incidence of adverse events and healthcare utilization.
