Oct. 10--EDGEWATER, N.J.--A $180,000 traffic study of River Road is under way to help determine what impact five proposed ferry landings would have on the flow of cars through the borough.
Engineers have started monitoring traffic patterns along the borough's major corridor and should complete their findings by early next year, said Louis Luglio of Vollmer Associates, a Rochelle Park-based firm working on the study.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey hired the firm to oversee the study at the request of Mayor Bryan Christiansen.
