Pfister offers 2d line's price well below signature collection
MILAN (FNS) - Andrea Pfister is launching a second line this season that will wholesale for less than half the price of his signature collection.
"The dollar is dropping like crazy, which is making my line even more expensive," Pfister said. "Everybody has to do this if they want to go on, if they want to stay alive." The dollar has dropped nearly 20 percent over the last 18 months relative to the lira to 1,160 from 1,400 thereby weakening U.S. purchasing power.
