ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) consumers, more often than their non-gay counterparts, say that they choose to do business with companies they know exhibit a commitment toward diversity. GLBT consumers also said they respond positively to companies when they are served by representatives or salespersons who are openly gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender.
