Sarah Gavaghan Sculpting New Items
NEW YORK -- Millinery designer Sarah Gavaghan, known for her unusual sculptural shapes, is taking her vision into other items. For fall, she has added a line of hair accessories and handbags to coordinate with her hats.
In another new venture, she is busy designing hats for Rebecca Moses' resort collection, which will be shown with the clothing and available to retailers.
The 27-year-old designer, who started her business two years ago, felt it was time to expand.
"Hair accessories seemed the obvious next step," she said.
