Susan Howard, owner of The Green Turtle Boutique, credits a dare from a friend for getting her into business and customer service for keeping her in for 25 years.
Howard began working at The Green Turtle Boutique in Chelan more than 25 years ago and then someone dared her to buy the store. So she did. In September the store, now in Wenatchee, celebrated 25 years in business.
"I'm stubborn. That helped me start the business, and it helped me stay in business," Howard said.
She said it also helps to pay special attention to each customer--which she believes is the key to staying in business.
