Then: In November 1999, Charlene Woodward, who owns Dogwise with her husband Larry Woodward, told The Wenatchee Business Journal that the business they opened 14 years prior was adding dog supplements and training tools to the company's product line that previously had only included dog books.
The company, located in a 5,000-square-foot warehouse on Poplar Avenue in Wenatchee, specialized in shipping more than 2,000 different dog and cat books across the country through Internet and catalog sells with the help of a dozen employees.
